RESORT AND ACCOMMODATIONS
JB Hunting and Video Safaris is located approximately a two hours drive north of the Johannesburg International Airport, between the towns of Naboomspruit and Portgietersrus in the Northern Province of South Africa. This area is now called the Limpopo Province and is the ultimate area to view, photograph or hunt in an unspoiled environment. No other region offers as great a variety of game in all of South Africa.
Our property is a natural area consisting of approximately 5000 Ha. ( 12,355 Acres), comprised of two adjacent farms which are fenced and electrified and owned by JB Hunting and Video Safaris and a fenced adjacent farm of which we have the hunting rights. This area captures the real untamed Africa with mountains, slopes, plain areas, rocky terrain, bushveld and water areas. This diversity of terrain enables all existing game to live in their natural habitat.
JB hunting and Video Safaris is a botanical wonderland blessed with a great diversity of habitats enabling us to keep over thirty five species of mammals and a wide variety of native plants and birds.

European standards are maintained along with traditional South African charm in our security fenced resort where in the early morning and late afternoon game can be seen grazing nearby.
The resort itself covers 7 Ha. ( 17 Acres), with a beautiful garden where we have planted local trees and plants. At the center is a large thatched lapa which houses a sitting and dining area, bar, and fireplace with barbeque facility. This area is open air under the protection of a high African style thatched grass roof. This structure also houses our kitchen, laundry and a curio shop.
The Lapa
The lapa and 4 large, fully equipped, African style thatched roofed rondavels, are situated around a 200 sq meter swimming pool. The rondavels each feature 2 double bedrooms a bathroom with shower and bathtub, a separate toilet with lavatory and kitchenette. In the center is a sitting area and each has a large outside terrace with sleeperwood furniture. Adjacent to the swimming pool across from the lapa is large circular stone boma where open fires can be safely built for barbequing as the enjoyment of sharing time around a camp fire. We have designed our resort to blend into real untamed Africa.
