These are the thoughts of a conservative disillusioned Republican who has recently retired from the fire department. I enjoy all the things liberals hate. I hunt, fish, I own and enjoy playing with guns. I believe in God, I love this country and I think its the greatest on the planet and I not ashamed of it. I watch FOX News and listen to constrictive talk radio a couple times a week. I do not believe in man made climate change and think men are being incredibly arrogant to think they could damage the earth at all. So I will throw out for your consumption what I'm thinking about this day. Take it or leave it. I hope you will come back tomorrow.

Copenhagen

This week all the global warming zealots flew in there private jet to the UN summit on the religion of man caused climate change. The high priest Al Gore gave a impassioned speech about how the polar icepack will be completely melted in 5 years and since most people get drinking water from this ice it will kill millions due to thrust. When it was over the scientist who's research Gore sighted publicly stated the he never came to that conclusion. I am shocked Al Gore was lying, say it isn't so. 

China is not interested in participating in any of this crap because it... compromises there sovereignty and would reduce the standard of living of the people of citizens of China. Can you believe this; China is a communist nation. Our "Dear Leader" can 't compromise our nations sovereignty fast enough. And lowering our standard of living is his propose. Cap and Tax laws will make power so expensive that your heating and cooling bills could soon exceed your mortgage. It all OK cause were saving the planet. Who for I have no idea.

It's family reunion 2025 and Grandfather Bwana Brown is asked by his grandson (Only one per the population reduction act of 2012) "Grandpa  what was it like when your were a boy. I will pullback the scarf made from recycled human feces (the waste reclamation act of 2015) from my face and say foggy breath. "Sonny when I was a boy there were systems in buildings that could keep the temperature the same comfortable level summer or winter (Outlawed by the EPA in 2015). We could travel about the country for hundreds of miles and not just the 40 mile range of a Government Motors electric car( Made th only legal vehicle for the public in 2013). We could eat what ever we wanted and not just the USDA MRE (Declared the only safe and legal food by the USDA in 2016)and we could eat it warmed up. But think god for Al Gore who help us see the error of our ways and save the planet for you. Now finish your unflavored algae paste."

Health and barrel break-in

I awoke this morning and turned on Fox News as usual and Dear Leader Chairman MaObawa broke in to read a teleprompter address to all about the senate health care bill pending. It was clear in the first few seconds is that he has not read the bill either. EVERYTHING HE SAID WAS A LIE. Enough politics for today. I have recently acquired a Remington 700 Varmint in 308Win. (7.62 x 51) and I topped it with about 10x of glass with a mil-dot recital. I have read that if you follow a certain barrel break in procedure with a new rifle it will make your barrel retain its accuracy longer and be easier to clean. I intend to find out if this is true. Today I will go to the range and began the process. I will let you know my findings. I intend to learn to hit a varmint (2 legged) out to 1000 yds. with this rifle.

I took a couple days off but the morons in Washington didn't, well not before passing there health care destruction bill. The question that I asked my Senator and that everyone be asking is; If this plan is so good, why did they exempt themselves and their families? Here is my bet. I have a nice little health insurance plan that is about $ 110.00 a month. I will bet that by this time next year I will be paying more for less service and my taxes will be higher to boot. I may not be able to afford my policy at all but then I will be breaking the law and could be arrested. What a mess!!

The weather here has sucked so I have not done any shooting so nothing to report on that front.
